Default Which to pick...

Hey all, I'm now kind of stuck :S.. I'm currently playing an elementalist i made 20'ish days ago..and now farming with it. Anyway, here's my question, now in the few last days i've started to think of making a warrior maybe. Which do you people suggest me to do? Should i pick an E/ or a W/, not in enjoyability but also in terms of usefulness, is it better, why? And such kind of things. Thanks ahead

Well if youve already got on ele, why make another? Make a warrior.

i dont think he meant making a new one. just saying should he make a warrior instead.
but i would assume you have space for both on the account. imo warrior is much more useful than an elementialist in pve, and wars fare well in pvp. once you try hard mode stuff with an ele they just dont have nearly the same damage output.

Ele: Great Damage output and you can knockdown and interupt Targets easy.

1. Monk. I can always play as him no matter what my guild is doing. Healing and Protecting are the obvious roles, but whenever those are already covered, I simply run a 'nuking' build. Either Assassin's Promise / Cry of Pain / Smiting based, plus the bread and butter PvE skills: Assassin Support, the Ebon Wards, Pain Inverter, Finish Him, YMLAD, etc. You can even 600/Smite with another Monk or Rit while the rest of your team leeches. lol.

2. Necro. Similar to Monks they can fill nearly any position. Debuff, damage, healing (N/Rt), with even better energy management than Monks can ever hope to have. I prefer Monk due to aesthetics though (totally personal pick).

3. Warrior. They are usually the most desired melee frontliner due to high damage, high defense, high shutdown via KDs. Dervishes and Assassins are nice, but usually require more factors to work as well due to their relative squishyness and can usually bring less utility than a Warrior.

4. Ele. Similar to the reasons given to Monk and Necro. Can play many different roles, which makes them versatile and fun to play as.

Of course this is just opinion and by no means a 'rank' of which classes I think are best, just the ones that can see most overall usage. That being said, I ranked Warrior at #3 and I never had a PvE Warrior - I just feel they are indeed more desired (I prefer to melee as an Assassin! lol).

Most important of all is to play a class you have fun as. If you like hitting things on the face with a big hammer, then healing stuff all night might get you bored fast. Play what you like and don't care about what others say/want.

Good luck.

u should make a cahr for each profesion(that is what i did)and play them out all ,best way to see which u like more and which profesion best suits your playstyle, ele is nice to play(pve for ex)but from all professions i play warrior the most ,dont know its quite fun to beat your target with a hammer.

they both have their usefullness...its nice to cut up baddies like a hot knife thru butter in PvE with a warrior, but i made an ele and enjoy rounding them up and nuking them...i switch depending on my mood.

Since I don't know you have never seen you play or talked about other games you play how can I or anyone else make such a decision for you ?

Use another of your character slots and try out all the professions its really the only way you will be certain to pick the right ones for you and make sure your not missing out on a great profession.

Forgotten200 has already covered the main classes pretty well.
